1. Dr. Netter obtained his doctorate in psychology in 1989. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center San Diego, and was licensed in California in 1990. He has completed over 450 hours of continued education courses post licensure.
2. In addition, Dr. Netter received a certificate in mediation from the San Diego Mediation Center (currently National Conflict Resolution Center). Between 1998 and 2000 he was a volunteer mediator at San Diego Mediation Center, facilitating resolution of conflicts between providers or services and their clients, employers and employees, and parents and adolescents.
3. Dr. Netter established independent private practice in 1992. In addition, he was a psychological consultant at the Mental Health Clinic at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton between 1992 and 1996. He was a clinical supervisor instructor at the California School of Professional Psychology.
4. Dr. Netter first engaged in the field of forensic psychology, as an evaluator and a treating psychologist in 1990, and has provided medical-legal services since, serving more than a hundred individuals. He initially specialized in the evaluation and treatment of victims and perpetrators of child and adolescent abuse and neglect, and of injured workers. Subsequently he added experience and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of those traumatized in multiple forms of personal injuries. He has been engaged in multiple cases, maintaining an unbiased perspective when evaluating and testifying on behalf of plaintiffs or defendants.
